Community of Practice: Ethical Business Practices

A Community of Practice (COP) is a forum for professionals to share experience and information with one another.  Signed language interpreters often work in isolation; instances of teaming are rare and are not usually an appropriate time for complex professional dialogue. Providing a space for these types of discussions will connect interpreters with one another, create a body of resources, and provide for professional growth and development.

This COP topic on ethical business practices will focus on basic principles of business practices for interpreters and dive into those practices with an ethical lens. Bring any questions, best practices, and experiences you wish to share with the group.
