Let’s Rise Together- Change the phrase of goal setting to goal achieving
Workshop Description:
Do you feel stagnant? Do you look at other interpreters and wonder “How do they do that” or “how do they find the time?” This workshop will motivate participants to push themselves to the next level in their field of interpreting. To get there it takes: goal setting, accountability, determination, and positivity. Interactive discussions and personal analysis will be an imperative part of getting the full benefit of this workshop. Participants will take a hard look at their “barriers.” This inspiring workshop is a great way to wrap up the schoolyear and forge ahead into summertime.
Let’s rise together this summer!
Educational Objectives:
Analyze and discuss the most utilized excuses/barriers for not following through on personally taking action toward their goals
State and create plans for both long and short term personal goals
Outline their day and week to determine the best time for deliberate practice
Organize accountability partners from breakout groups by collecting names, contact information and schedule weekly discussion times
