ALSO,as an effort of NVRID switching over to "Going Green". The Powerpoint slides will be provided in the form of a link, which will be sent out to those who are registered prior to the trainings. Copies will NOT be provided to you in paper form. You are all encouraged to bring your laptops, tablets/iPads, or you may use your smart cell phones in lieu of wasting paper.

Friendly reminder that only light refreshments will be provided, please bring your own lunch to the full-day workshop on Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE WHEN REGISTERING, YOU ARE ABLE TO COME FOR "PART 1 ONLY" OR "PART 1 AND PART 2", BUT YOU CANNOT ATTEND "PART 2 ONLY" SINCE FRIDAY NIGHT (part 1) IS INTRO/PRIMER/PRE-REQUISITE MATERIAL. (Essentially, you could do Part 2 at a later date... though this gets more complex, please email nvridvicepres@gmail.com with any questions about this)

Please be aware that PPO is an on-going process of unpacking, self-assessment, and self-reflection. (This 1-1/2 day training by one person will not suddenly give attendees life-changing insights and be open-minded and "woke" overnight).

At the 2015 RID National Conference in New Orleans, a member motion was made that each cycle, 1.0 of the required 6.0 Professional Studies (PS) CEUs be related to topics of Power, Privilege, and Oppression (PPO).
