Autumn has been in the field of interpreting for 14 years, received her national certification in 2008 providing professional services in all areas from conference to performance, from industrial to medical. Autumn has been a Certified Medical Assistant since 2013 as well as having completed the Certificate of Healthcare Interpreting program through RIT in 2013.
Autumn was born and raised in Central Washington state where she loves spending time with her Husband and 11 year old son working on classic cars and playing in the great outdoors camping, hiking and everything that involves water. Autumn became a SCUBA certified Divemaster in 2012 and has been addicted ever since.
Autumn has a passion for ASL, learning about its history along with the fluidity, beauty of the language and its people.

In this workshop we will examine the “ins and outs” of the coroner’s office. We will discuss what can happen during an interpreting assignment at the coroner's office. We will identify different aspects of interpreting in this possibly high-stress environment through scenario discussion activities, while recognizing the Deaf perspective of this environment. We will collect and share knowledge of the autopsy procedure and point out some “fun facts” about the coroner's office.
